Pics from “Rock and Drag” at Phoenix

Check out some of the action-packed photos from our show “Rock and Drag” at Phoenix, Thursday February 24th.   Our good friend Mona Mour joined us on vocals for a cover of Madonna’s” Borderline” (inspired by The Flaming Lips)!  They were taken by a gleeful, half-drunk  iPhone, hence the look.  We plan to do this again in April.  Stay tuned!

Also, watch a video of “Tell Me No” from the show on our YouTube page

Phoenix is a very casual gay bar with a fairly mixed crowd of gays and straights on Thursday nights, so be as hip as you think you are and come party with us.

My compatriot Chris Riffle live

Chris is a great singer songwriter and friend…and guinea pig for my new Blue Mikey test during his gig live at the Living Room earlier this month.  Love this song (forget the title!) and can vouch for the grip and go ease and decent quality of the device.  My phone was low on batteries so there are a few clicks and pops. Let me know what you think.

Photos from Target Cancer benefit

We had the pleasure of playing Target Cancer’s first benefit concert in Boston at the Artists for Humanity Epicenter October 29th.  Early reports are it raised $30,000 dollars for cancer research.  My late best friend Paul Poth, who started the foundation, would be extremely proud!  We opened the show for Boston legend Mike Gent, then Will Dailey took the stage and the evening finished with Kay Hanley and Palmdale.

Here are some pictures from our set taken by Steve Depino www.stevedepino.com
